Dr Scott McClintock

Dr Scott McClintock graduated from medicine at The University of Queensland in 1990. He completed his specialist training in Urology in Queensland in 2000. During his urological training, he was awarded the prestigious Keith Kirkland award by The Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand and the Neville Davis prize by The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

Following this, he travelled to The United Kingdom to complete a subspecialty Fellowship in Urological Oncology and Complex Urological Stone Disease at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals in London. In 2002, Dr McClintock returned to Australia to commence private practice on the Gold Coast.

Dr McClintock works privately at Gold Coast Private Hospital and Pindara Private Hospitals. He is a Senior Visiting Medical Officer at the Gold Coast University Hospital and was appointed to The Information, Communication and Technology Governance Board at that Hospital.

Dr McClintock is the chairman of the Clinical Review Committee at Gold Coast Private Hospital. He is also a member of The Medical Advisory Committee and Accreditation Committee at Gold Coast Private Hospital. He is a fellow of The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and has been a member of the Australian Medical Association since 1990.

He regularly lectures for The Queensland Cancer Council and delivers lectures for medical students, Gold Coast General Practitioners and community groups. Dr McClintock runs a private adult Urological practice. His special interests include Prostate Cancer, other Urological cancers including renal, bladder and testicular cancer, lower urinary tract symptoms and Urological stone disease.
